The women’s group Nyaketho was registered as a self-help group in 2017. It operates in Homabay district.

The group is made up of women and a few men. The members of this group work in individual companies of various types, but also run a joint catering business. The customers of their catering company include students of a technical institution.

Angeline G. Ogonyo, the local coordinator of the group, took part in the STARTHILFEKENIA training course which was run in Sotik. After returning home from the course, Angeline mobilised the women who now form this group.
